Sculptor Giambologna three figures are constructed on a vortex that invites the observer to move around statue and offers infinite intertwined figure compositions and sculptural view points of his sculpture. Our sculpture of the Sabine Women by Giambologna was an incident from Roman mythology, and this sculpture is found in Florence, in which the men of Rome committed a mass abduction has been a frequent subject of artists, particularly during the Renaissance and post-Renaissance eras. The original plaster cast can be seen when you enter the Accademia Gallery, the cast depict three figures connected by a serpentine shaped movement. The actual statue is 18" high the genuine alabaster base is 4" high and 6.5" wide. Our replica of the of the Sabine sculpture is made of solid white alabaster mixed with a durable binding compound, each detail is finished with care by the artisans of Italy's Egregia Workshop.
