James Harold Doolittle was an American pioneer in aviation, reserve officer in the Army Air Corps and served in active duty in World War II. Doolittle was awarded a Medal of Honor for personal valor and his leadership as commander in Pearl Harbor as the Doolittle raid. He was promoted to lieutenant general and commanded the Twelfth Air Force. This portrait bust of Doolittle pays tribute to this American hero.
