The Maid In The Mud GARDEN SPRITE is a sandstone replica of one of the many such sculptures designed by Wright, and sculptured by Alfonzo Ianelli, that adorned the walls of Midway Gardens, Chicago, Illinois, (1913). All of our cast stone products are hand-cast, using a wet mix technique, resulting in a traditional cast stone look and feel. These products develop a rich patina, that simply improve with age.This magnificent statue will be the focal point of any garden project. Early in 1998, Nichols Bros was granted a license by the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation®, to re-produce Garden Urns and Statuary designed by Mr. Wright. These pieces are faithfully re-produced from the original designs. A wonderful sculpture for the home and garden.
